I was sad to part with my glittery Sparked mani, but it was time. I toned it down a little, but this polish still has some glittery bling. Rimmel Play Fast polish in Scene Stealer:
I was going to do some Konad, I actually did one nail & was not pleased with the results & so removed it. I guess it's (barely) sparly enough to hold it's own without any nail art. The base color is kind of hard to describe ... and a little different in the bottle than on the nail. Kind of taupe-copper-golden-sparkle. I like it, and I feel like shimmery reflective colors like this usually make my nails look longer, which is a plus.
I did make a trip to Sally's today, but details of the haul will have to wait until tomorrow. Thanks for reading.

Pretty shade and does look lovely on you. I've never used any Rimmel colors. Will have to try this one. I really like it.
ReplyDeletethat is very pretty on it's own with no konad...... your nails are very nice they look pretty-thick = you are lucky girl!
ReplyDeleteAlso I see that the color of you polish in most of your pictures looks the same... In different lighting and out doors, How do you do that?
I love taupes and that's a pretty one, almost a metallic finish. I've never seen a Rimmel bottle shaped like that. Mine are boring and round :/
ReplyDeleteThat is such a cool color. I'm going to have to look into finding it. Do you use a lot of Rimmel polishes?
ReplyDeleteCheck my blog out when you get a chance :)
This color looks good on you! I own this Rimmel. But have not had a chance to try it out.
ReplyDeleteI'm a fan of all Rimmel products. Their polishes are great overall. The brush is great! The mascaras are some of the best I've ever used.
ReplyDeleteI wonder how this color would look against my brown skin. It's very pretty on you.
LUCY - I hope you can find it - I have a vague recollection of reading that this Play Fast Collection was discontinued, but I'm not positive.
ReplyDeleteDEEZ NAILS - Thanks! I think it just depends on the color, it's nothing I'm doing. My mom asked me on one "why do you do the 2 pics, it looks the same" & I told it's because they don't always look the same ... the last one I remember really showing a sharp difference between the lighting was China Glaze Flying Dragon (Neon) which almost looked like a whole different polish under different light.
MARY - This line seems semi-hard to find - they carried it at Target, but as widespreadh as Target's are, I only saw these at maybe 1/5 stores.
OLIVIA C. - Rimmel is not one that I have a ton of colors, but the ones I have I like a lot. Looks like your blog is coming along well =)
VELVET - I actually bought this polish for my mom LOL. Since she likes kind of lighter neutral colors but still wanted something bling - I haven't gotten her to wear it yet.
THE PBG - We need to get some Photoshopping going on here & cut & paste my nail on a pic of your finger LOL!
