2010 Top 25 NOTDs

I am fully aware that is so SO late LOL.  You are welcome to talk as much crap as you want =)  I intended to put this up in January ... didn't start working on picking them until February ... don't think I touched it at all in March ... and finally decided I needed to just freaking sit down & finish it before April was gone too!  So, here we are ... not too much talking but lots of pics =)

It started out as a top 20 - not in any particular order, kind of loosely broken down by plain colors vs. fancier nail art manis - but I decided I needed a separate category for water marbles & so tacked on an additional 5 slots.  So here we go, starting off with my top 5 favorite water marbles:

NOTD: OPI DS Glow

The DS polishes that are not holo are always a little weird to me, but still pretty.  This is bronze with gold glitter in it - I was wondering if I was imagining the gold, but when I took it off it was very obvious on the cotton.  From the Designer Series, OPI DS Glow:

NOTD: OPI La Paz-Itively Hot Matte (& w/ Dots & Top Coat)

Started out just wanting something less ... pastel than my Easter mani LOL.  So I picked out one of my recent purchases, OPI La Paz-Itively Hot Matte.  This is 3 coats & honestly I would have gone for 4 if wearing it alone because there was surprisingly a little bit of VNL:

 

 

It was ... not boring, but plain.  So I decided to add a little something.  Sometimes that turns out good - sometimes that turns out bad - and I'm still not sure which this ended up to be LOL.  I did some little dots at an angle in white & then some more in black, then top coat,  but it just didn't end up the way I imagined it.  Even when I took it off, I wasn't sure I actually disliked it ... and I actually got a ton of compliments ... but I did decide it looked a little better from a distance:
