The only real downside to Wet n Wild Gray's Anatomy is that it starts out very sheer - I needed 4 coats to get it opaque, but boy was it ever worth it =) Silver, purple, green, one of the nicest duo-chromes that I've worn in a while:
Here's a look in motion:
It's very close to OPI Not Like the Movies, from the Katy Perry collection, but they're not dupes - GA is more purple, and NLtM has some little tiny sparkles in it that as you can see at one coat - NLtM on the left, GA on the right:
In this pic, I used 4 coats for both - NLtM is also quite sheer:
Thanks for reading =)

Wow! Gotta love the cheap polishes! Ive made a recent discovery of "Magnetic Polish" have you heard of it? "/ Apparently people have found it in the dollar tree by Loreal, but its discontinued.. :/ It looks like a really cool polish, if you every see it, make sure to take a picture and post it on your blog! Id love to see it! What was the coolest/weirdest polish you've ever discovered?
ReplyDeleteVery pretty. I can't beleive it takes four coats though. At least it's a quick dry!
ReplyDeleteLove it! I purchased this a while ago, and I thought it was going to be the same as the OPI one, but they are quite different. I am happy with it :)

So glad I bought this beauty. Looks gorgeous! All those beautiful colors in this. Glad I didn't buy the polish from Katy Perry. This looks so close to the OPI. I stay with the Wet n Wild.
ReplyDeleteI own both the WnW and OPI as my goal was to get a dupe of Lippmann's Wicked Games. Per other bloggers..the WnW is a perfect spot on dupe for the Lippmann (at a huge savings! $2 vs $18...hmmm I'll take the WnW any day!)
ReplyDeleteThat's a very pretty colour! Looks good. Four coats is a lot though.

I love this one! I layered mine over black so I wouldn't need 4 coats and it really brings out the duochrome in it. It's an amazing polish and the price is even better :)
ReplyDeleteThis was actually my mani this week and I loved it! It wears really well (I have a job where my hands get banged around a lot).I'm going to try Meeka's idea and try it over black.
ReplyDeleteHi Colette :)
ReplyDeleteI was wondering have you ever found a sliver nail polish that dosen't take alot of coats? I really want a good sliver, but don't like how thin most metallic nail polishes are.

A friend sent me this from the States and I love it! I think I might do a pedi with it today.
ReplyDeletei bought this and from doing swatches didn't think i would like it , but i am def going to try it out now . It looks beautiful on the nails! Thank you !Great photos!
ReplyDeleteHi Colette! Thank you for a lovely blog! I did my second try at marbeling, it sure is harder than it looks! I have no idea how you manage to get your nails get the same pattern... :S
ReplyDeleteKeep up the good work!
Meeka, that sounds like a great idea, layering Greys over a black lacquer. Black is the one color I haven't purchased yet.
ReplyDeleteHaha, I just realized you forgot the "r" in Natural!
ReplyDeleteThanks for suggesting this polish. I did three coats and topped it with WW Kaleidoscope. Looks beautiful and loving the price!
