Yes LOL, another polish that went through a life cycle. I think it took 4 or maybe 5 coats to get Claire's Sparkle opaque on it's own:
And then I decided I didn't like it. I know, right? At least 11:00 at night, even a little later I guess because the next set of pics ended up in the next day's folder - I put down a layer of Wet 'n' Wild Black Creme, and then another single layer of the glitter:
I wore it like that for a day, but my favorite was actually the final incarnation, with Matte Magic on top:

PS - my room is a disaster area, and so is my email inbox (among other things). I'm going to take a serious stab this weekend at getting stuff under control ... I know I've said it before LOL, but I'm not giving up trying yet =)

Black underneath is much better. I like the matte version as well, but the glossy version of it is just as elegant :)
ReplyDeleteI love the Matte look but can seem to find it to apply to may nails. I have looked everywhere! I have tried Ulta, Sally's, even Claire's. Where should I be looking? Please help!
ReplyDeleteYep that's definitely missing something on its own. I'm not sure if I like it glittery or matte better over the black, both are pretty great :)
ReplyDeleteThe matte is really cute...though, does it last a whole day? whenever I try one, I am desperate to get back home after work and touch it again as it starts to show a bit of nail on top...
