Gah. This was Tuesday's NOTD. It has been a hell of an exhausting week, and I apologize for not posting since Monday, and also for not only failing to get caught up with comments, but in fact falling further behind; including my YouTube comments which I had been staying on top of before now. I'm being a very unreliable blogger at the moment ... but as usual I have high hopes for the weekend LOL. We'll see how that goes =)
So, we had some high-level VPs visiting Tuesday at work, everyone had to clean up their areas, take down the drunken party pictures, and wear either company logo-wear or a nicer version of business casual than we normally do. Nothing too strict or anything, but sweat pants are not an uncommon sight at my job most days. I wore a pair of brand new very dark jeans, equally new & awesome grey turtleneck, and my current favorite boots, the red ones =) If I were inclined to post pictures of myself, I think I'd have put up an OOTD pic because I was feeling pretty cute =)
Anyway - to go with all this hooplah, I needed a great mani to keep me from nerves as they were expected to spend most of their time in our department (HR/Compliance/Payroll). But boring was not going to cut it ... and so I decided on what I would consider a low-key water marble, just 2 colors & a fairly simple design. Using Orly Shine & Orly Goth, I came up with this:
It actually didn't turn out much like I was planning, but I still liked it, just wasn't in love with it. Favorite nails were the left ring & middle, but the BEST I think was my right pinky.
I actually got this edited & up on YouTube yesterday, so some of you may already have seen it =) But for everyone else, here is the tutorial:
If I weren't so tired, I'd give a real, detailed rundown of everything I plan to get done this weekend, but I am practically nodding off at the computer so I'll just mention briefly: Guest NOTD, duo-chrome beautifulness, another water marble, books, comments, and of course more rambling random thoughts. Thanks for reading.

I have a question - do I need to apply a top coat after I've done my nails?
Thanks
