I screw my schedule up so bad on the weekend - last night I fell asleep at 8 in the evening & then woke up at 2am & was up for about 3 hours & then slept until 1 LOL. And now it's definitely bedtime & I am, as you see, not ready for bed.
This green on green design uses Avon Jade as the base color, marbling done with Jade & Avon Olive Green:
Here are close ups of some of my favorite nails - left index, left thumb & right ring:
Here's the tutorial:
I wish I could convince myself this was going to be a good week but on top of everything else I seem to be coming down with a cold =( Oh well, maybe I'll feel better when I wake up.
Thanks for reading.

ReplyDeleteThat is the most PERFECT water marble I've ever seen! I thought for sure it must be a stamp, but no. And your tutorial is fantastic. It makes me think I might be able to pull a water marble off, you make it look so easy!
ReplyDeleteI love this!
ReplyDeleteI can't get my polish to marble... I've tried a hundred times! Glass, plastic or dixi cup, bottled water, cold water, warm water, room temp. water, thin polish, not-so-thin.... SO frustrated! I LOVE your designs! Please help?

ReplyDeleteLIST OF 2 COLORS WOULD HELP ME. THERE ARE TIMES THAT I CAN'T DESIDE WHAT TO DO IN COLORS. SEEING IT DONE BY SOMEONE ELSE MAKES A BIG DIFF. I WATCH YOUR WATER MARBLING AND OTHERS YOU DO WHILE I AM DOING MY NAILS, IT INSPIRES ME!!KEEP THEM COMING, I ENJOY THEM!!

ReplyDeleteHi Colette, I enjoy your videos on YouTube and I've learned a lot from them. I've done some marbling and am now into stamping. Today my manicure that I put on yesterday came off in big pieces, some of them the entire nail at once. What went wrong I wonder. My manicures usually last a week. I used sech vite top coat as a base and as a top coat. Maybe that's a no no. Also I was wondering if you have ever read the warning on the bottle about birth defects. Do have another top coat that you really like? Thanks for your help. Sandi
