NOTD: Zoya Malia + bm213

I so totally apologize for being an AWOL blogger this week!  A combination of business & laziness - I just took off this mani, which I'd had on since Sunday.  I know, right?  That's such a long time, I was so bored with it by today LOL.  I was dealing with YouTube problems also, which I finally got cleared up, and then last weekend I helped my stylist at a hair show, took pictures & etc - these nails were actually done to match the purple dress I wore to the event =)

I started off with a base color of Zoya Malia - a very lovely lavender creme, completely opaque & even at 2 coats:

Then I stamped with Bundle Monster image plate bm213 & Color Club Wild at Heart:

Double stamping of course, but this was a very easy design to do it with.  Even though the full nail images on my 2nd set of BM plates are bigger than on the original set, it's still a bit of a better fit for me to stamp it "sideways."  Especially since either direction I'd still need to double stamp.

I don't even know what I'm about to put on my nails ... my patches could use a change so I'm thinking glitter since when I soak it off usually my patches come off too.  But that would mean I definitely have to make extra time this weekend, which is busy again with a birthday party, a lunch date, and a fruit tart to be made for work Monday!  Gah, what happened to my boring weekends?!  LOL  If I have any free time I'd like to make a new tutorial, I'd also like to get some more of this year's books posted ... we'll see =)

Thanks for reading.

  10. Ya mean a whole week has passed since I read your blog? Wow...I am watching Blue Bloods now and it seems like yesterday I just watched it and not on any DVR either...for real across the reg. transmission - LAST Friday night! Hope you are getting some major teal projects ready for the entire month of Sept when we have our big campaign for Ovarian Cancer Awareness! We need to get that cancer on level with the success rates of survival as we have with many forms of breast cancer. I lost my mom to OC - not that long ago it was just considered some kind of 'stomach' cancer that they never found the source for.

  11. I love everything about your blog! In fact it was your blog and video tutorials that inspired me to put my own "nail diary" together at http://thekrackedkat.blogspot.com/ . I would love it if you would add me to your blog roll.
