Guest NOTD: Orly Wandering Vine (?) + China Glaze Oxidized Aqua

I have a pretty good memory for my own manicures - I am not quite so good with what my mom has worn LOL, and that's why the question mark disclaimer.  But I have this (rather large) box of all the polishes I have pictures to edit for, and these were in there so I'm pretty sure I've ID'd this combination correctly - a base color of Orly Wandering Vine topped with China Glaze Oxidized Aqua:

NOTD: China Glaze Swing Baby

I used this color in the Star of Bethlehem water marble, but I'm glad I made time to wear it alone.  It's got a really smooth foily finish, and the champagne color made me think it was an obvious choice leading up to New Year's =)  From this past fall's Vintage Vixen collection, this is China Glaze Swing Baby:

 

 

Gonna do a New Year's tutorial tonight ... but I'm not quite sure what exactly of LOL.  So we'll see =)  I'd like to make a resolution to keep up with comments this coming year ... but that would mean catching up in the first place!  Well, I have no plans, and there is (another) storm coming, so that may be how I ring in the new year.  Thanks for reading.

NOTD: Zoya Ivanka + m73

This is me NOT falling super-behind again.  Didn't get all the fair pics edited yet, but this was today's NOTD - along the same lines what I did with Alegra, 2 coats of Zoya Ivanka, stamping done with Wet 'n' Wild Black Creme & Konad plate m73, and another coat of Ivanka.  I think the Alegra version was a little more successful, in a lot of light the actual design of this was nearly invisible, it just looked like some dark sponging or something on the tip:

 

 

Also, you know, it didn't show up in pics, but some angles Ivanka almost duo-chromes into a teal rather than a green.  Very pretty, even if it wasn't a total win.  I've got a water marble on right now I just did that I'm actually really liking, so I'll have that up tomorrow night =)

NOTD: Zoya Mimi

LOL I really shouldn't be posting one of my new Zoyas before I even post the haul in its entirety ... but I haven't taken pictures of them all together yet.  I got my package Wednesday (after placing the order just Friday I'd like to add) & so did my nails that evening with Zoya Mimi - from this summer's Sparkle collection - to wear on Thursday.  This is a little  bit more red-toned IRL, but I was surprised what a decent job my camera did capturing this purple:

Such a great polish!  It's like a glass-flecked foil finish, which sounds awesome & lives up to it.  I will take pics of the rest of my Zoya haul & get those up ASAP, promise - and it's the weekend, so I have no excuse!  Well, except for 2 really good books, but I will resist them until blog-related responsibilities are cared for.  I also have a 4th of July water marble with tutorial to post up ... progress on all will depend on when exactly sleep overwhelms me.
