NOTD: Purple w/ Pink Flowers Matte

Missed these couple of matte pics when I was doing the last post:

I think that when I matte-ified it, I went around the rhinestones, so that they could still be shiny.  Might have looked cool if I'd matted them too though.

NOTD: Purple with Pink Flowers Drag Marble + Tutorial

Hope everyone had a good thanksgiving =) I had 2, one Thursday at Grandma's house & another yesterday at my brother's.  And still a whole 2 days until I have to go back to work!

Drag marbling is to me a great example of low investment high payout, because it's so easy & can be so impressive.  This one I used OPI Vampsterdam as the base color, and the flowers are done with China Glaze Mistletoe Me!  With the rhinestone in the middle I didn't have to worry as much about bald patches caused by dragging from the center:

NOTD: The Evolution of the Aubergine & Turquoise Water Marble + Tutorial

Up late again - lots & lots of pics for this one, because I kept it on for quite a while & so kept switching it up. It actually turned out better than I expect at every stage =)

I started out with a base color of Finger Paints Black Expressionism, a basic black. Then the marbling is done with NK Green Apple & NK After Dark - I was super pleased with how evenly I managed to place these chevrons on the nail:

Here's the tutorial:

After a few days I topped it with Finger Paints Motley:

And then topped that with Warpaint Beauty Mattify:

Which version is your favorite?  Leave a comment & let me know!

NOTD: Essie Damsel in a Dress + M37

Late, but I'm pretty awake for some reason. This was my NOTD Tuesday & Wednesday of this week; Essie Damsel in a Dress is gorgeous, I've had it for a long time & never worn it yet. Pretty as it is, it needed a little more, and I stamped with China Glaze Millennium & Konad image plate m37 - got to keep up my stamping skillz LOL, you can see a couple of them are a little crooked so I don't want to get any rustier!  The sun & shade pics were taken on the 2nd day so excuse the tipwear:

In addition to the rest of my NOTDs this week, I have 2 hauls to post up this weekend, one from Avon & one from Nubar. I went ... well, I refuse to say overboard, but I went beyond restraint & perhaps common sense. Thus the aforementioned no-buy. I've even put myself on the fence about Orly's Cosmic FX because I might feel a tad bit guilty spending more money on polish at the moment. But we'll see. That feeling may go away tomorrow XD

Thanks for reading.
