Not Exactly Happy Holidays

Sometimes I forget that not all my blog followers are fans on Facebook, which is where I tend to post quick updates.  I know I've been semi-AWOL again - this is why:

There's a bit more in the post about this on my other blog, which if you want you can check out in the right sidebar.  As you can see, I'm OK, but it's piling a lot of paperwork & extra crap onto my already busy schedule.  I'm attempting to be more organized LOL, but it still feels veeeerrry hectic.  But I will not let it deter me from holiday nails!  Or continuing to catch up here =)  I think I am almost done dealing with insurance, although I've still got to do car shopping in between Christmas shopping.

Thanks for reading.

  2. Glad you're ok. I know what you mean about preferring a larger car. I have a Ford Fusion and I really like having so much car around me. The only thing I really fear is colliding with a semi. Good luck with your car shopping.

  5. So glad to hear and see you are okay! I completely understand hassle of totaling out a car. I had to do one truck and two motorcycles after Hurricane Isaac. Not fun but the most important thing is that its a thing and can be replaced, you my dear cannot!

  9. Wow, Those are some scary photos! Your car's trunk really is kind of gone!

In 2006, I was rear-ended at a stop light by a careless young driver. Unfortunately, I sustained a concussion, whiplash, then later developed chronic myofascial pain and fibromyalgia, which are both life-long chronic pain conditions for which there is no cure. The damage to my 1999 Honda Civic was not much compared to your 1998 Buick Regal, but the impact was definitely significant.

I am and have always been a sentinel on the road, watching out for others and making sure they don't collide if I can honk and prevent it. I believe I have prevented plenty of accidents. I wish drivers were more careful. It turned out the driver who hit me had four accidents since then. Ugh!

Anyway, take care of yourself first. We will wait for you when you are able to share. There is never a need to apologize for being too busy to post on a blog. We all have lives to lead. We understand.

P.S. My car was almost totaled, but they fixed the frame and back bumper and I am still driving it today. When it finally gives out, I am considering going all-electric to a Nissan LEAF. Hope you find a car that suits you.
