Sometimes it is perhaps not quite so obvious how far behind I am - but yes, these are Valentine's nails, and yes that means I'm about 4 months behind LOL.
I started off this manicure with a base of Zoya Marley, then did the marbling with Marley & Ulta Femme Fatale. I like these hearts better than the hearts I did the year before, but for something that seems like it should be simple, it's surprisingly hard to get exactly right in the water:
Some of the hearts ended up "cleaner" in the center than others ... shows that even I am not perfect & still have plenty to learn about marbling:
Here's the tutorial:
Thanks for reading.

These are so pretty! And you could totally wear them anytime so it doesn't matter they're from Valentine's ;)
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! Your water marbling skills are amazing.:)
ReplyDeleteI never get tired of looking at your water marbles.
ReplyDeleteI kinda like the one without the clean clear center better. Looks like white/milk chocolate swirls!

ReplyDeleteThese are so awesome, I love it! I'm just now getting decent at doing a regular water marble much less trying to get an actual design in there but I definitely want to try this. Thank you for taking the time to do your video tutorials!!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat size paper cup do you use? I have tried using a small bathroom size cup. It seems to work well, but I'd love to know what you use.
ReplyDeleteI tried a water marble with china glaze (the kind you use) and it wasn't separating. What do I do?
ReplyDeletehello mysimplelittlepleasures. I sat movies to watch on youtube about nails and then I found you water marble designs how that creates your nails, I found it very fun and creative, and since then I have your movies water marble always to follow, hopefully you make more movies water on marble as well .... I would like it if you respond to me and that mail, I'm a fan of you! :) Lots of love, anonymous
ReplyDeleteLove your nails. I've been trying but i can't understand why some nail polishes sink to the bottom and others don't. Does it depend on the colours/technique/compostition of the polish^
