NOTD: Tronica Water Marble (#1) + Matte Magic & Tutorial

Every color that I've tried from China Glaze's Tronica collection has been good for water marbling.  I have at least one more design with them coming up that I've already picked out the colors for.  For this one, I used a base color of Wet 'n' Wild French White, and then marbled with China Glaze Hyper Haute, Hologram, Techno Teal & Virtual Violet:

My favorite nails - left pinky, ring, thumb, right thumb:

After 2 days I added Matte Magic - with the sparkle toned down I feel like the pattern comes through a little clearer:

And finally here is the tutorial:

Thanks for reading =)

  2. Wow that is absolutely amazing! I wonder what it'll look like if the holo polish covered the whole nail. It'll be super sparkly!

  8. INCREDIBLE as always. It looks really cool matte, too. I've been meaning to try one of your tutorials but I know I'll be disappointed when it turns out all ugly, haha.

  9. I've seen other nails done with the water marbling technique but none of them had that "wow" factor for me. Yours on the other hand are amazingly gorgeous and makes me want to try! Absolutely beautiful and I love the color combo too!

  14. i love your nail art designs especially the water marble ones..... ive seen almost all your tutorials on youtube for those and it inspired me soo much!! but the thing is we're not allowed to wear polish to school and the only way we can is by wearing colours the teachers dont notice much... we also have to keep our nails short.... can you suggest some sort of marbling that will suit these conditions and pleeeeeease make a tutorial of it!?!!!!! pleeease?

  16. SHRUTHI - Hmm, that would be pretty challenging - I feel like the best marbles have a lot of contrast with the colors, so that the design really shows up ... but I'll keep it in mind & add to my request list =)

  17. Awesome colors & marbling! Problem, I started taking the biotin that u spoke about & had great results. Then I started wearing color polish which worked out great, but since I didn't want my nails to turn yellow I decided to let them breathe & just wear my regular clear base coat polish. My problem is that now my nails r peeling & I don't know why. I take a vitmin, I eat well, & drink plenty of water...y are they peeling & what can I do to strengthen them again? Was the color polish acting as a barrier bt my nails & the water/elements?

  29. Hi! Love your nails and the designs! Especially the water marble ones. I tried searching on e-bay and amazon for any polish in the china glaze collection but I came up with 0 results. I'm from UK and China Glaze is a little hard to come upon. Have you tried any water marbleling with any products from Miss Sporty, Loreal, Maybeline, Revlon, Rimmel, Max Factor or Bourjois? I bought a couple from each but couldn't find any that would spread on water. Thanks for the videos you posted! Take care

  33. I'm in love with this one too, and the matte magic did seem to make the pattern pop a little more, but I'm partial to the gloss hehe the more shine and sparkle the better in my book, but maybe that's just me lol
