NOTD & Some Stuff

My first full-nail pattern attempt! Nina Ultra Pro Sweet Nothings as the base, Konied with China Glaze Devotion & plate m63:

Not bad, although I did have a few little problems that are of course glaringly obvious to me. But from a normal distance I think this looks absolutely hot. This new design could easily become one of my favorites.

Speaking of my new plates ... now that I have *cough*tripled*cough* my Konad plate collection, they're not going to fit in the cute little box that my original set came in, that even has instructions inside:

I'm going to have to find something that's secure enough for me not to lose any, but easy enough to get in & out of that I don't die of irritation. BROOKE - I know you were looking for a solution a while ago, what did you come up with & are you happier with it or are you still toting the ziplock baggie LOL?

Also, I neglected to mention in my last post, now that my huge haul has arrived, I give myself permission to place my next haul, of polish. I just kind of need to set myself a spending limit, since I honestly don't want to spend my entire tax refund on manicure related purchases LOL.

Thanks for reading.

  6. I got some great ideas in response to my storage search. The best one I got was to use the clear, plastic storage pockets that are made for baseball cards. I haven't gone to walmart to see if my plates will fit in one yet or not, but I am pretty sure it will. Pluse you can put them in a binder and just add more plastic pages as needed.

  10. VELVET - Thanks!

    SAKURA - Thanks!

BROOKE - I might have to take a look at something like that ... although I do also like handling my plates when I look at them, spinning them so whatever image I'm considering is right side up.

LUCY - Practice makes perfect! I don't know what I did before Konad, but even after 8 months of practice I'm still learning tricks how to do it better every time.

    JAMIE - Thanks!

    VANESSA - Thanks!
