NOTD: Butter London All Hail the Queen

This one was .... odd.  Butter London makes decent polishes - not worth the $14 price tag I don't think, but if you catch them on sale you might indulge.  But All Hail the Queen hid it's beauty in almost every light, and I didn't get enough time in the sun to really enjoy it.  & that honkin big square bottle is mighty awkward also, even with the fake part of the top off.  Anyway, if you enlarge the sun pic, you'll get just a hint of the different colored shimmers that are hiding in this apparently drab polish:

Thanks for reading =)

  1. I kinda like it! Like you, I'm not sure it'd be worth 14 bucks, but it's very pretty on you :)

  6. I'm not a fan of bL in general, I've had really bad luck with their formula and I don't much like the bottle shape either. However, I do have this one and love it!

  9. I saw this color on another blog and bought it just from that pic. I loved the color - still do but not the formula or the brush. I agree with you that it's not worth the $14 price tag.

  10. ERIKA - every polish dries at a different speed & those that dry fast just aren't very good for marbling - if you can't work any quicker then you have to find colors that dry slower =) Also make sure there's not a fan or anything creating a draft on the water as that can make the polish dry faster

  11. Colette....can you give me the name of a polish that compares to this color? Love it, but have never seen this brand before, plus don't care for the price :) Thanks!! Also, with all the polish you have, how do you keep from buying dupes?
