Guest NOTD: Gold, Green & Black Water Marble + Tutorial

When I do water marbles for mom, she picks the colors, and then I find the polishes in close colors & give her a few sample designs to choose from.  This particular color combination was inspired by a wall hanging that you can see in a one of the pictures below.  Base color is Sally Hansen Salon Tassel, marbling done with Tassel, China Glaze Peace on Earth & Orly Liquid Vinyl:

Here are a few of my favorite nails - even short nails can fit plenty of marble-y goodness:

And I found a couple of these shots while editing pics, really shows the difference between me & Mom LOL!  She could maybe barely fit one of the four leaf clovers on her thumb:

And of course here's the tutorial:

Thanks for reading =)

  4. Every day I check to see what you've done. I'm SO jealous of your marbling skills. I do marbles, but everything you do is amaze-balls! Try as might by watching your videos, I just can't do what you do. What size is that paper cup you use? Is that one of those small bathroom type dixie cups?

  8. These look great. My nails aren't nearly as long as yours so I wondered how marbling would look on shorties. They really do look good and I like the color combo.

I've been watching your marbling tutorials in preparation my first attempt. Just did a little playing around to practice for the actual real attempt in the morning. Learning a lot thorugh trial and error as well as your vids. Thanks so much to doing them.
