NOTD: Zoya Cheryl + Hidden Treasure

I started off intending to wear Zoya Cheryl on it's own - it's a perfectly nice brown:

But the next morning when I woke up, it just wasn't doing it for me - so I added a quick layer of Sally Hansen Hidden Treasure & I was much happier:

Here's a look in motion:
Then I had it on long enough that I matte-ified it for a day with China Glaze Matte Magic - one of my favorite looks for a flaky, as amazing as they are glossy something about the matte just makes each it glow from within:

Thanks for reading =)

  5. This is so pretty ! I love it both ways! Your nails are so glossy looking too . Do you use a top coat over your polish?

  8. Very cool variations. But there MUST be more than one coat of the Hidden Treasure on in that outdoor pic. The greenish cast over the brown is really awesome. Thanks for fun reviews!

  9. To Melissa Birch up there, crying inside when she sees HT. Go get Nubar 2010. It's identical , but more flakey spectacular! Really!

You have the best nails!!!! I tried nail marbling but used tap water and no top coat with super shiny nail polish with fine glitter in it and it did not work. os i will do it like im supposed to next time and use thin bright matte colors. did you ever try it with glitter polish yet? Also i love the nails that are bronze, green and gold. it is a nice fall nail with the flecs. will you do some nails like that with tutorials

  14. MAKEUP YOUR MIND - yes, I always recommend a topcoat =)

CERISEKARPINKSI - I haven't had very good luck with glitters, but a few have worked, you just have to find the right one that dries slowly =)

  15. Colette, you have turned me into a mani-aholic! :) I love your cheryl/hidden treasures mani, so I special ordered both. So excited when they arrived, immediately started mani. Epic failure. :( I put 2 coats of cheryl and 1 of hidden treasure, looks NOTHING like yours, all I got was an almost "solid" funky green - no cheryl shows through like on yours - also didn't get any of the "flaky" look like you have. Any ideas what I've excluded or done wrong? Advice appreciated as I already bought a dress to match - lol!
