This was actually a couple of weeks ago, but we're getting dumped on with snow again after a week that was actually what passes for nice in Minnesota in February LOL. Temps were up near 50 - now we're paying for it with over a foot of snow!
The ice-carving competition is held in Rice Park, a little tiny park in the middle of downtown St. Paul. They were actually still working when we went, so in addition to seeing some finished carvings, we also got to see a lot of the guys still in action:

Oooh so pretty. I live in California and we dont get snow over here, so for me, this is pretty amazing~ I don't think I have ever seen ice sculptures of this magnitude.
