OM-f'ing-G ... Squeeee!

What's all the excitement you may wonder?  Behold, my very first ever dusty, what I went in looking for & the best thing I think I could have found, a long-time lemming fulfilled:

Now, I think probably 95% if not more of my readers will recognize this lovely on sight, but if you are new to the blogosphere or the nail polish world, I'll let you know that this is the original, uber-holographic yumminess of OPI My Private Jet.  I had a bottle ... one of the multitude of "other" formulations that just can't stand up to the original:

Ridiculous.  I mean, really OPI, you should be ashamed of yourself, trying to pass these off as the same color.  I didn't know when I got my first bottle that there were so many different formulas out there.

Today I went to the mall with Mom, hunting Claire's mood polishes (which I did find & will post later, along with the rest of the hauls I've neglected to post lately), and across the way was a nail shop ... I've never actually stopped in one before, I don't know what possessed me to go in today.  I saw several unexceptional, unsurprising polishes, then I saw something promising ... but it was the version of MPJ that I already owned, brownish grey with a turquoise shimmer.  Booo!  But, wait!  Right behind it ... the true beauty ... so hard to find ... I glanced up at my mother, outside the shop, with a look of ecstasy on my face & she gave me a look that wondered what I'd found.  Priced at $9.00, a definite yes please, and I was out of the shop with a grin on my face.  I managed to keep from squealing too loud as I showed Mom my find & explained why it was so totally awesome.  The end.

You can see my current mani in the pics above - I'm not teasing you for too long LOL, but I've got to get the pics & video edited before it gets it's own post =)  So stay tuned.

Thanks for reading.

  6. EVERYONE - Thank you all!

SARAH - I don't think so but I'm not 100% positive - it was really crowded in there plus smelly enough to almost knock me over, so I didn't dig for as long as I might have otherwise.
