NOTD: Hot Topic

As many of you know, there's not really a polish name on the Hot Topic bottles. We'll call this Blue Glitter just to keep it basic:

Of course it's hard to capture the true beauty of glitter polish on camera. I wish I could get a shot in the sun, but if that happens it won't be for a few days - forecasting 4-7 inches by tomorrow night, it will be snowing all day long. ♥ Minnesota ... NOT.

The snow also means even if my computer comes in tomorrow I won't be going to pick it up. I don't mind driving in the snow, I just wish everyone else would stay home. Especially after a couple weeks of above-freezing temps & ice-free roads? This could be as bad as the first snow, not to mention it's looking like the biggest storm of the year. We've had plenty, but mostly 1-2" at a time.

I could go on ranting about the snow for a while, but I think I'd rather go to bed. Thanks for reading.

  1. This is pretty! Reminds me of CG "Blue Sparrow". That was one of my faves from my January flavors.

  2. I haven't tried my Hot Topics yet. I bought some empty bottles though to put them in since everyone say's what a pain the regular bottles are to use.

That looks realy good on you! Blues seems to always look good on you though.

  3. Love the color. I don't own any of this brand. I do own lots of blue polish. I love it.

  4. I can tell it's really sparkly though, you did a great job, and that color is gorgeous.

We've got snow here too, with more on the way later, if the weather guy is to be believed. People haven't been driving too bad though, despite the "nice weather" break we just had. Good luck getting your computer!

  5. THE PRETTY BROWN GIRL - I saw that color last time I was at Sally's - I thought I'd get it the next time I stopped in, but that was before my self-imposed no-buy...

BROOKE - Good idea. The bottles are a pain, they're just like the original-style Urban Decay bottles, and while they're usuable & I actually like the brush, holding it made me feel like a clutz & it was hard to control although I kind of got the hang of it ... right around the time I finished.

LUCY - This polish is a great example of good cheap polish. Less than $3 a bottle. I think blue may be my favorite right after purple (you probably guessed from the blog colors purple takes number 1)

JAMIE - Thanks - I'm still hoping the sun comes out before I take it off so I can get a few more pics.

The one good thing was I did get to leave work early due to the snow =) so I got home before the worst of the traffic.

  7. We have not attempted my personal Warm Subjects however. I purchased a few bare containers although to place all of them within because everybody say's such a discomfort the standard containers tend to be to make use of.
