NOTD: Tronica Water Marble (#1) + Matte Magic & Tutorial

Every color that I've tried from China Glaze's Tronica collection has been good for water marbling.  I have at least one more design with them coming up that I've already picked out the colors for.  For this one, I used a base color of Wet 'n' Wild French White, and then marbled with China Glaze Hyper Haute, Hologram, Techno Teal & Virtual Violet:

My favorite nails - left pinky, ring, thumb, right thumb:

After 2 days I added Matte Magic - with the sparkle toned down I feel like the pattern comes through a little clearer:

And finally here is the tutorial:

NOTD: China Glaze High Def + m57

Even though these Tronica colors really aren't that holographic, they're still nice.  I'm still glad I have them all.  And in some lights, at certain angles, I even catch a flash of holo every now & then =)

I started out with the blue, China Glaze High Def, and wore it plain for a day:

For day 2 I added some stamping with China Glaze Blue Paradise (from a recent Sally's trip I've yet to post - it's a great color & I'm impressed with how well it stamps), and the tiger design is from Konad plate m57:

I was in a bit of a hurry, so the seams aren't perfect, but they weren't too bad.  I'm sporting a bright pink, purple & teal water marble right now, I'll aim for getting the pics edited & up tomorrow =)  Thanks for reading.

Guest NOTD: Mom's 2nd Konad (Sally Girl Periwinkle + bm03)

I thought this was so pretty, and it was hilarious because Mom was nitpicking it the way I normally would my own - she was frustrated with trying to exactly center the circular design, and also with the fact that some flowers had the petals pointed towards her tips, and some had the leaves pointed towards the tips.  Base color is Sally Girl Periwinkle (from a recent haul yet to be posted), stamping done with Nubar Unfaithful Red & plate bm03:

And as she's wearing this, she says to me, "So I already have an idea for my next mani ..."  LOL!

NOTD: Milani Purple Gleam

This was my mani this past weekend - Milani Purple Gleam:

Glittery & purple & lovely =)  I also got started on the top manis from 2010 post over the weekend - I PROMISE I will have it posted before the end of this month, seriously!  I almost have it narrowed down.  Might have to make it a top 25 instead of 20 though LOL.

Thanks for reading.

This did turn out to be my St. Patrick's Day manicure, base color is Revlon Emerald City, drag marbling done with Revlon Gold Coin:

I didn't get as many designs for St. Patrick's Day done as I actually had in my head ... guess I'll have to save them for next year =)  Because its time to move on to Easter now!
