Transdesign Haul

So, this is the first time that I've made an order from Transdesign, and I'm quite pleased with the quick shipping. I placed my order late Saturday & it was on my doorstep early Thursday afternoon. Unfortunately, today was a rainy mess & this was the sopping-wet box that I came home from work to find:


Still, the packing peanuts protected everything, and here's what was inside:


The entire Retro Diva collection =) I couldn't help myself, it doesn't happen that often that I actually like an entire collection. Top & Bottom left to right: Stroll, Thunderbird, Drive In, Street Racing, Free Love, Cruisin', Short & Sassy, Cords, Let's Groove, Stella, Skate Night, Far Out.

You didn't think I could stop there, did you? I mean, online hauls are kind of serious. If I'm going to pay for shipping I feel kind of entitled to splurge a little more:

So lots of great polish! Oh, and did I mention the Barielle haul that's on it's way? After that I might go on a no-buy ... or a buy-not-so-much ... or maybe just a no-online-buying, since those are the real big hauls. And after my other package comes, there's really not anything (much) that I want (need).

Verdict Is In

Well, yesterday I wasn't sure about my current mani, but I've decided I like it =) And it deserves a little explanation. I used he one image plate that isn't really individual designs, but one big scene, m66:


I was initially only going to use the lotus flower, but somewhere along the line I decided to try & recreate the scene - which reminds me of maybe like a temple or something? peaceful ... anyway, base color is China Glaze Wagon Trail from the Rodeo Diva collection, and the I used China Glaze Passion for the Konad:


What do you think? Fun or too crazy for your taste?

I also got one of my hauls today =D So I'll edit those pics & try to get that posted as well. Thanks for reading.

NOTD: ChG OMG

From one end of the holographic spectrum to the other I guess =) The only downside to this mani is that due to tornadoes & crap I didn't get a chance for any sun pics. Still, I've got a good amount to show you, here is China Glaze OMG, the flagship I guess you could say for the OMG Collection:

I have to also mention, I edited these pics while I did a new mani, and boy are you guys in for a treat - or maybe a disaster? - tomorrow. Which it turns out to be will depend on if this mani grows on me over the coarse of the day, because right now I'm just not quite sure how I feel about it. And I know that's a horrible teaser =) but I don't know what else to say LOL. Until then, thanks for reading.

NOTD: CC Revvvolution

What can I say about this polish that hasn't already been said? I love it. Every time I wear grey polish I think I should wear it more often, and holo into the mix! It was hard to part with when it came time to remove. Here is Color Club Revvvolution, from the Femme Fatale collection:



Lovely. It's kind of a subtle holo, not blinging all over the place like some from the Kaleidoscope collection, but it's like a mystical shimmer when you glance down.

Polls Coming & Going

It was fairly obvious from the beginning which way this one was leaning. And you may have noticed I'd adjusted my style a little in response.

On another note ... I have a very strong desire for the Blogger collection from Rescue Beauty Lounge ... on the other hand, I have a very strong aversion to paying $18/bottle for polish. Especially after a couple of other recent hauls of around the same price range that netted me a lot more than freaking 3 bottles of polish. Still. They're gorgeous! And kind of historic, like the All Lacquered Up collection by Barielle (which makes up a goodly portion of one of the aforementioned hauls). I mean, this is The Limited Edition Blogger Collection. I need this ... or do I?
