NOTD: Sunny Yellow Water Marble + Tutorial

As many of you know, yellow is NOT my favorite color.  Possibly my least favorite in fact.  But that didn't mean that it would be neglected in my Addicted to Color series, and I finally found 5 yellows that worked together & still had some contrast on the nail.  Base color is China Glaze Lighthouse, marbling done with Lighthouse, China Glaze Solar Power, Sally Hansen Hue, Orly Hook Up & Wet n Wild Collecting Pollen.  I wish we had a little sun to go with my sunny nails but although the temperatures have rebounded from the hard freeze, it's been pretty cloudy lately:

NOTD: Double Rainbow Water Marble + Tutorial & My First Collaboration!

Excited & flattered to be doing a collab with Karina from BeautifulYouTV =)  Everything just fell into place, we agreed on a theme right away & it was actually a look I'd already half-planned to do.  Rainbow!  And these did indeed turn out to be my birthday nails.

 

After the Rainbow Double Spiral marble, I really wanted to do a design that showed off all of the colors in the China Glaze Island Escape collection (Senorita Bonita, Blue Iguana, Cha Cha Cha, Electric Pineapple, Papaya Punch & 108 Degrees).  I just kept the design really simple & I'm very pleased with the results:

NOTD: Rainbow Double Spiral

I'd like to say first, I did like this mani ... but.  BUT.  I wish more pink had shown up, and I was in a hurry so I had a lot of bubbles on top of smearing several while they were wet.  These colors from the Island Escape collection worked really well for me though, I'm going to use them in another marble after the 4th:

 

My favorite nails - left middle & ring, right middle & pinky:

Left to right:  China Glaze 108 Degrees, Papaya Punch, Electric Pineapple, Cha Cha Cha, Blue Iguana, Senorita Bonita.

Caution: Extremely Yellow Nails (NOTD: Claire's Daisy + bm20)

I always kind of pat myself on the back when I come up with a clever title LOL.  But this did remind me of caution tape, although that wasn't the original inspiration.  Base color is the bright yellow Claire's Daisy, stamping done with Black special polish & Bundle Monster plate bm20:

I only used part of the image, and it came out a bit crooked ... actually a bit straighter on my right hand.  But still bright, which was the point, and fun.  Tolerable for one day LOL.  Thanks for reading =)
