I usually read enough that I am always looking for new authors, because my established favorites just can't write enough to keep my busy!

BROOKE - For sure pick them up! Even if you just read on your lunch break at work or something I think you'd be surprised how quickly that adds up. So often I see people complain about the same old magazines in the break room, but I never have to worry about that at work or anywhere else, my book is like a safety blanket that keeps my from boredom any time or place LOL.

I'm glad you're enjoying the book portion of my blog - I originally threw them in kind of because I didn't think I'd have enough nail content to post about, but I've gotten so much positive feedback, from you & others also. I know some people would have started a separate blog, but to me they're kind of similar just because they're both (you guessed it) simple little pleasures =) Things I do to escape, relax, feel better.Colettehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09980042993513407290noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2519442937346551593.post-55319291357060584532009-03-02T10:33:00.000-06:002009-03-02T10:33:00.000-06:00Wow I wish I could read books like I used to (befo...Wow I wish I could read books like I used to (before I had my son) - now it's just like I have no time! The Patricia Briggs book(s) sound interesting. I will have to check and see if Walmart has them next time I am there.

I really like your book "series" to your blog. It lets me know about books that I would maybe otherwise pass up when I am looking for a new book to read. Glad you add it in with the nail stuff :)Brookehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13118392088203473769noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2519442937346551593.post-24098395008471876272009-03-01T19:02:00.000-06:002009-03-01T19:02:00.000-06:00Oh, I love Patricia Briggs! The main character Mercy is a skinwalker, a coyote shape-shifter, who pays the bills as a car mechanic. With no others of her kind around, she was raised by werewolves but was always still treated as an outsider.

It's hard to talk about the plot of the 4th book without giving away a lot of what went on in the first 3, but I would for sure recommend this book & the rest of the series. Even if you only want to check out this one, I feel like the author gives enough summary of the backstory to probably appreciate the story even if you haven't read the preceeding books.Colettehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09980042993513407290noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2519442937346551593.post-58581079192886405412009-03-01T18:12:00.000-06:002009-03-01T18:12:00.000-06:00I've seen Bone Crossed in stores and it does look ...I've seen Bone Crossed in stores and it does look interesting to me.
